2018 started off really amazing. In fact, on the 1st of January 2018, I had the highest views ever on the blog. I had just gotten self hosted, if you know what that means, then you know how big of a deal it is to any blogger. The rest of the year went by, and my family recorded one of our major testimonies yet. I was ecstatic. However, life has its ups and downs, and the old year 2018 came with its own fair share of them. Today’s post is one that embraces all the new and exciting things that come with the new year 2019!
I feel it’s only right for me to say HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! Even though we’re almost done with January. Haha!
It’s been a really long time.
Thank you for not giving up on this portable lady and her blog. Thank you for the messages, calls, prayers and encouragement. I wouldn’t trade this family for anything. #TPHFAMFOREVER
Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to get the blog back, and at some point, I wasn’t even bothered. Oh yes, I had my ‘Debby Downer’ phase these past months because I was frustrated, going in circles without really having an actual result. It wasn’t a pleasant experience, and so, with every strength in me, I’m so kicking that old thing out of 2019!
This year, we’re making moves and getting great results.
This year, we’re doing things that improve our mental health.
This year, we’re setting goals and achieving them.
This year, we’re experiencing new and amazing things that will help us grow.
This year, we’re becoming more intentional.
This year, we’re shooting our shots.
This year, we’re investing in valuable and meaningful friendships and relationships.
This year, we’re watering each other and helping each other grow.
This year, we’re investing in our personal development.
This year, we’re showing up and taking responsibility.
This year, we’re making money, loads of it.
This year, we’re glowing.
This year, we’re standing out and getting celebrated.
This year, we’re staying clear of negativity and toxic energy, it’s good vibes all day, every day.
This year, we’re doing it afraid.
This year, we’re letting go and letting God.
Dwelling on the old year, might make you lose sight of what you could actually do in the new year. Lessons have been learned last year, 2019 is a new slate, and you’re in charge. Live your life to the fullest, do what makes you happy, take care of yourself, you deserve it.
2 Corinthians 5:17b …Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
What are you kicking out with 2018, and what are you welcoming into 2019? You know I always love hearing from you, let’s talk in the comments!
